Our body changes throughout life: cells die and regenerate. But every decade they get worse and worse. After 30 years, a person begins to lose 1-2% of muscle mass per year, even if he leads an active lifestyle. All the tissues of the body are lost, thus, the signs of age appear on the skin. We call it aging and we know it cannot be stopped.
External signs of aging appear after 25 years
Why the skin shows signs of aging:
- fat layer decreases;
- bone mass decreases;
- connective tissue breaks down.
Metabolism slows down in connective tissue. Less and less of our body's building blocks are produced: proteins (collagen and elastin) and polysaccharides (glycosaminoglycans). Roughly speaking, the aging process involves the gradual loss of these components. What can we do? Just try to slow down aging. Often even improving the condition of the skin, rejuvenating it with the help of competent care.
How do facial oils work against wrinkles?
In the plant, essential oils are involved in metabolic processes. The main components of the ether - terpenoid and aromatic compounds - are very quickly and actively involved in various chemical reactions inside the cell. Active chemical reactions also occur when ether comes into contact with human skin. Phenols, aldehydes, organic acids and alcohols contained in the ether cause skin irritation and blood flows faster to the place of contact with them. Thanks to this effect, work with compresses and oil. The higher the oil concentration and the longer the exposure, the more active the skin reaction.
Essential oils do not contain vitamins. Vitamins are stored in both water and oil, ether does not contain oil or water.
Use facial oil for wrinkles
When it comes to treating fine lines and wrinkles, the options seem endless. Should you choose a cream or a lightweight anti-aging moisturizer? How about vitamin C or acid gel?
Essential oils can't get rid of wrinkles, but they can help reduce them.
They also:
- Accelerate collagen production
- improve skin tone
- evens out the color
- reduce inflammation
- increase the turnover of epithelial cells
- protect your skin from the environment
Which face oil to choose instead of cream for wrinkles?
One of the most valuable components of skin oils is lipids (fats). They stick the keratin cells (scales) together and create a protective barrier that retains moisture. It also protects against the entry of harmful microorganisms.
By applying it to the skin in its pure form, we seem to strengthen this protective barrier and the skin is saturated with moisture.
But the problem is that no vegetable oil contains the right ratio of lipids for our dermis. When applied to the face, it smoothes and softens the horny scales, leaving us feeling immediately hydrated and comfortable. It also creates a film that keeps moisture on the surface.
If we keep applying it regularly, it will penetrate deeper into the skin layer and begin to break down our own lipids. Their ratio begins to change, which leads to the breakdown of the lipid barrier. The skin becomes more dry and flaky.
Therefore, to strengthen the lipid layer, the consumption of internal fats will be more beneficial.
But there is good news. Thanks to their moisturizing and emollient properties, vegetable oils are ideal for treating wrinkles if you use them wisely.
In combination with other components, they have a beneficial effect on the skin and remove fine wrinkles. Therefore, it is recommended to use them in various mask recipes.
But so that the skin does not get used to it, you need to change the recipes regularly. But more on that below. For the reasons mentioned above, it is not recommended to use it regularly in its pure form, so replacing it with daily care instead of a cream will not work, because it can cause serious damage.
For additional moisturizing and softening of wrinkles, it is used in its pure form only in special cases in a course of 1-2 weeks. This should be done in accordance with the following rules:
- The surface must be wet before use;
- number of drops depending on skin type: dry 3-4 drops, normal 2-3, oily 1-2;
- After 15-20 minutes, wipe the cover with a napkin and remove its excess;
- apply moisturizer after use;
- Apply the oil around the eyes two hours before going to bed to prevent severe puffiness.
An effective and safe option for using anti-wrinkle oil is to add a small amount of drops to various masks, the recipes of which are listed below. 20-30 minutes in combination with other components, such compositions are beneficial only if they are chosen correctly (more on that later).
Antiaging can be done 2-3 times a week. At the same time, it is recommended to change the composition of masks once a month so that the skin does not get used to it.
